In the spirit of highlighting Industry 4.0 collaboration this month, Michigan State University and two firms have partnered to create MSU's first electric and autonomous bus. After 650 test runs, the bus went live in May as part of MSU's "smart mobility" initiative. The wheelchair-accessible bus will start its runs each weekday at 9 a.m., completing a 2.5-mile route with a goal of a 45-minute continuous round trip, MLive reports.
