The Career fair is scheduled Wednesday, March 1st from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, March 2nd from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, March 3rd from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The three-day event will feature onsite interviews with the opportunity for onsite job offers.

There are also opportunities for engineers interested in additive manufacturing. The Shelby Twp. headquarters features an array of Markforged 3D printers.
“We determined three or four years ago that additive manufacturing was a great option and an alternative to machining steel parts,” Meloche said.
Many engineers get training on additive manufacturing, he added.
“It is a different mindset vs. if you are going to put it on a lathe or CNC vs if you put it on a 3D printer. You have to understand the materials and the layering of the composites or plastics and whether you want it to be a hollow or solid core.”
