2000-2005: Altair invested in transit vehicle research and virtual product development explorations targeted at urban transit system needs.

Fiscal Year 2005: Automation Alley and Altair announced the initial federal grant to support BUSolutions.

2006: BUSolutions research and concept exploration were refined into the design for the LCO-140.

2009: BUSolutions LCO-140 will move into Advanced Technology Demonstrator Vehicle construction phase.
