1.  How do I get my username and password to post a resume?
You will need a valid e-mail address in order to post a resume.
You can click here to open directly to the page where you can create your new resume profile account.

Log on to www.automationalley.com
Click on the "Job Seekers" button to the right of your screen.
Click on the "Resume Postings" button to the left of the screen.
Click on the word "here."

2.  My company is a member of Automation Alley, how do I get a username and password?
Contact the Automation Alley Resource Center at 1-800-427-5100 or info@automationalley.com and request to be added as an Automation Alley contact. | Top

3.  How do I become a member of Automation Alley?
Automation Alley membership is open to businesses and organizations from diverse realms of technology, academia, manufacturing, engineering, production, and research and development.

4.  How do I join an Automation Alley committee?
You must be a member in good standing to join a committee.
Contact the resource center at (800) 427-5100 or info@automationalley.com for information on the activities of each committee and to submit your interest. | Top

5.  How do I update my company profile?
Log on to www.automationalley.com (Click the link to open a new window at Automation Alley's home page.)
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login."
Click the "Member Profile Update" button.
Click the "Company Profile" link.
Enter the required information.
Click "Update Settings."
Your updated profile will be posted to the site within 24 hours. | Top

6.  How do I post a resume?
Click here to open directly to the resume posting page.

Log on to www.automationalley.com (Click the link to open a new window at Automation Alley's home page.)
Click on the "Job Seekers" button to the bottom right of your screen.
Click on the "Resume Postings" button to the left of the screen.
Click on the word "here" to access our Resume Posting System.
Enter your username and password and press "Login."
(If you haven’t posted a resume before, you will need to follow the steps in question 1 to get your username and password.)

Next, click on the word "here" to edit your resume.
Fill in the necessary information and click the "Next" button.
Cut and paste your resume into the box and click the "Save Resume" button.
Your updated resume will be posted to the site within 24 hours. | Top

7.  How do I sign up to receive resumes?
Members can log on to www.automationalley.com (Click the link to open a new window at Automation Alley's home page.)
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login."
Click on "Sign up now!" at the end of the Resume summaries bullet.
Enter your e-mail address and click "Submit."
Each day at 5:00 p.m. all resumes submitted and approved in the past 24 hours will be summarized with each applicant’s name, expertise and keyword list in an e-mail to each subscribing member. | Top

8.  How do I search for a job?

Click on the "Job Search" button to the left of the screen.
Click "here" to access the Job Search.
Fill in the appropriate information and click "Search for jobs."
Note: When adding Computer Skills, Certifications, Career Categories or Language Skills, make sure to press "add." | Top

9.  How do I post a job opening?
Members can log on to www.automationalley.com (Click the link to open a new window at Automation Alley's home page.)
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click on "Job Listings."
Click on "Add a New Job Listing"
Fill in the appropriate information and click "Save."
Note: When adding Computer Skills, Certifications, Career Categories or Language Skills, make sure to press "add."

Your job opening will be posted to the site within 24 hours. | Top

10.  How do I sign up to receive press releases?
Log on to www.automationalley.com (Click the link to open a new window at Automation Alley's home page.)
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click on "Sign up for PR Mailings" to the right under Quick Links.
Enter your e-mail address and zip code and press "Submit."
                                                      -or-
Non-members can sign up by clicking on the "News Room" button.
Click the "Click here" link.
Enter your e-mail address and zip code and press "Submit."
Every workday at 10:00 p.m. EST, Automation Alley will forward a single e-mail with the day’s Press Releases. | Top

11.  How do I post a Press Release?
Members can log on to www.automationalley.com. Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click on "News and Press Releases."
Click "Add a New Press Release."
Fill in the required information and click on "Confirm."
You will then view the entire press release as it will appear on the site.
Click "Submit."
Your Press Release will be posted on the site and sent out in Automation Alley’s press release e-mail within 24 hours. | Top

12.  How do I receive the Automation Alley Mailing List?
You need to be an Automation Alley Member in order to request a mailing list.
Please call the Automation Alley Resource Center at 1-800-427-5100 or e-mail at info@automationalley.com and include the type of mailing list you need and the purpose for which you want the list. | Top

13.  How do I view a list of Automation Alley members?

14.  How do I register for an Automation Alley event?
Note: Event registration closes 48 hours before the event.
Click here for a complete calendar of events. Each Automation Alley event will contain a link for members to log in with their user name and password to register for an event.

Members can also call the Resource Center at (800) 427-5100 to RSVP via phone.

Please note there are a variety of events exclusive for Automation Alley members and are not open to the public. | Top

15. How do I register for an event if I am not a member of Automation Alley but the event is open to the public?

Note: Event registration closes 48 hours before the event. Also, Automation Alley does host events that are not open for the public to attend. Member only events are noted in the event description.
Log in to www.automationalley.com
Click on the event for which you wish to register. (If you need help finding the event, see question 14.)
Registration instructions are included within the event information.
Under event registration, click the link "here."
Where it says Need a Login?, click "here"
Fill in the necessary information and click "Submit" | Top

16.  How do I post an event?
Members can log on to www.automationalley.com
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click on "Seminars and Events"
Click "Add a New Event"
Fill in the necessary information and press the "confirm" button.
You will then view the event as it will appear on the site.
Click on "Submit."
Your event will be posted to the site within 24 hours. | Top

17. How do I post a member discount?
Log on to www.automationalley.com 
Enter your username and password into the login boxes and press "Login"
Select Member Discount from the left column 
Click 'Create a New Discount' 
Enter the information into the appropriate fields 
Select a category and an end date 
Click 'save'
Please note that all member discounts will be approved within 48 hours. | Top

18.  How do I download the Automation Alley Style Guide & Logos?
Members can log on to www.automationalley.com
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click the "Automation Alley Logos" button.
Click on the "Automation Alley Style Guide" link to learn about our graphic identity standards.
Or to download a logo, select the appropriate logo and download as instructed. | Top

19.  How do I update my personal contact information?

Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click the "Member Profile Update" button.
Select the "Personal Member Profile" link.
Enter the required information.
Click "Update"
