1.  My company is a member of Automation Alley, how do I get a username and password?
Contact the Automation Alley Resource Center at (800) 427-5100 or info@automationalley.com and request to be added as an Automation Alley contact. | Top

2.  How do I become a member of Automation Alley?
Automation Alley membership is open to businesses and organizations from diverse realms of technology, academia, manufacturing, engineering, production, and research and development.

3.  How do I join an Automation Alley committee?
You must be a member in good standing to join a committee.
Contact the resource center at (800) 427-5100 or info@automationalley.com for information on the activities of each committee and to submit your interest. | Top

4.  How do I update my company profile?
Log on to www.automationalley.com
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login."
Click the "Member Profile Update" button.
Click the "Company Profile" link.
Enter the required information.
Click "Update Settings."
Your updated profile will be posted to the site within 24 hours. | Top

5.  How do I post a resume?
The Automation Alley job board does not accept unsolicited resumes. Job seekers may submit resumes only in response to a specific job posting. To receive an automatic daily notification of new jobs that are posted to the board, do the following:
Go to www.automationalley.com
Click Careers on the Quick Links menu.
Click Automation Alley job board.
Click Sign up for our job alerts.
Enter your e-mail address and click Subscribe. | Top

6.  How do I search for a job?
Click here to access the Automation Alley job board to search for open positions and sign up to receive automatic notification of new job postings. | Top
                                                          
7.  How do I post a job opening?
To post a job to the Automation Alley job board, you must first have a valid job board ID and password. Please note that these may be different than your Member Extranet ID and password.

To request a login ID and password for the job board:
Go to www.automationalley.com
Click Careers on the Quick Links menu.
Click Automation Alley job board.
Click Employers on the menu bar at the top of the page
Click New to this site? Click here to request your user ID and password. Your login credentials will be e-mailed to you within 1 business day.

To post a job opening:
Go to www.automationalley.com
Click Careers on the Quick Links menu
Click Automation Alley job board
Click Employers on the menu bar at the top of the page
Click Returning users
Enter your login ID and password
Click Add a new job posting | Top

9.  How do I sign up to receive press releases?
Visit this link and enter your email address and zip code.
Every workday at 10:00 p.m. EST, Automation Alley will forward a single e-mail with the day’s Press Releases. | Top

10.  How do I post a Press Release?
Members can log on to www.automationalley.com.
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click on "News and Press Releases."
Click "Add a New Press Release."
Fill in the required information and click on "Confirm."
You will then view the entire press release as it will appear on the site.
Click "Submit."

In addition, we ask that you consider inserting in your releases that you are “a member of Automation Alley.” By providing that brief mention, it works to enhance the awareness of the Automation Alley brand as a global center for technology.

Your Press Release will be posted on the site and sent out in Automation Alley’s press release e-mail within 24 hours. | Top

11.  How do I receive the Automation Alley Mailing List?
You need to be an Automation Alley Member in order to request a mailing list.
Please call the Automation Alley Resource Center at (800) 427-5100 or e-mail at info@automationalley.com and include the type of mailing list you need and the purpose for which you want the list. | Top

13.  How do I register for an Automation Alley event?
Note: Event registration closes 48 hours before the event.
Click here for a complete calendar of events. Each Automation Alley event will contain a link for members to log in with their user name and password to register for an event.

Members can also call the Resource Center at (800) 427-5100 to RSVP via phone.

Please note there are a variety of events exclusive for Automation Alley members and are not open to the public. | Top

14. How do I register for an event if I am not a member of Automation Alley but the event is open to the public?

Note: Event registration closes 48 hours before the event. Also, Automation Alley does host events that are not open for the public to attend. Member only events are noted in the event description.
Log in to www.automationalley.com
Click on the event for which you wish to register. (If you need help finding the event, see question 13.)
Registration instructions are included within the event information.
Under event registration, click the link "here."
Where it says Need a Login?, click "here"
Fill in the necessary information and click "Submit" | Top

15.  How do I post an event?
Members can log on to www.automationalley.com
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click on "Seminars and Events"
Click "Add a New Event"
Fill in the necessary information and press the "confirm" button.
You will then view the event as it will appear on the site.
Click on "Submit."
Your event will be posted to the site within 24 hours. | Top

16. How do I post a member discount?
Log on to www.automationalley.com 
Enter your username and password into the login boxes and press "Login"
Select Member Discount from the left column 
Click 'Create a New Discount' 
Enter the information into the appropriate fields 
Select a category and an end date 
Click 'save'
Please note that all member discounts will be approved within 48 hours. | Top

17.  How do I download the Automation Alley Style Guide & Logos?
Members can log on to www.automationalley.com
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click the "Automation Alley Logos" button.
Click on the "Automation Alley Style Guide" link to learn about our graphic identity standards.
Or to download a logo, select the appropriate logo and download as instructed. | Top

18.  How do I update my personal contact information?
Log on to www.automationalley.com
Enter your username and password into the Login boxes and press "Login"
Click the "Member Profile Update" button.
Select the "Personal Member Profile" link.
Enter the required information.
Click "Update"
Your updated profile will be posted to the site within 24 hours. | Top
