2007 Annual Report
Automation Alley had a great year of growth in 2007.
With Automation Alley's regional partners from the eight counties in Southeast Michigan and the City of Detroit, Automation Alley was pleased to announce that the organization closed out the year with 850 members.
Also in 2007, Automation Alley conducted two trade missions and signed three Memorandums of Understanding. Each of the missions allowed for meetings with prospective agents, partners and distributors, all while sightseeing and experiencing the culture.
Automation Alley was also busy assisting technology entrepreneurs. Nine start-up technology companies were funded in 2007, for a total of $1.4 million.
