Automation Alley to host lunch ‘n’ learn session on improving trade show skills

TROY, Mich., Dec. 18, 2012 — Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, will host its popular lunch 'n' learn session “Improving Your Trade Show Performance” featuring Anita Mitzel, president and owner of GraphiColor Exhibits, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at its Troy headquarters. 
“Trade shows can be a big expense, especially for a small business,” said Automation Alley Executive Director Ken Rogers. “But there are things you can do to make sure you get the best return on your investment and have a successful exhibiting experience. I encourage local businesses to come out for our lunch ‘n’ learn session and take advantage of this great opportunity.”

Mitzel’s presentation comes just in time to prepare for the IMPACT 2013 business conference, to be held Feb. 21 from 1-7 p.m. at the Sterling Inn Conference Center in Sterling Heights. Mitzel has shared her advice and tips with both large and small companies as well as chambers of commerce, industry associations and other business groups.
Before founding GraphiColor, Mitzel worked at trade shows across the country as a narrator, booth staffer and supervisor. She is an expert on effective trade show exhibiting and helps her clients cover all the bases in preparing for and being successful at trade shows and events. 
“Improving Your Trade Show Performance” is open to members and non-members. Lunch will be provided. The cost to attend is $20 for members and $40 for non-members with pre-registration, or $30 for members and $50 for non-members at the door.
